Following the overwhelming success, of the 1st Yeovil Half Marathon in 2011. Total Buzz Events are delighted to be able to confirm the 2012 date.
Yeovil Half Marathon 2012 will take place on March 25th. With Race HQ and the Start/Finish at Huish Park, the home of Yeovil Town FC.
The town got behind the 2011 event in some style, with the route being lined with spectators, with
the spectator ‘Hot Spots’ having live music to keep the athletes motivated.
With a few minor tweaks, the event will retain the same route as 2011, including the unique King of the Hill contest.
The event will in 2012 be run as a UK Athletics Event, with the focus on a fun, safe and affordable
event.
As per 2011, Cash Prizes will be awarded to Male and Female winners, and King of the Hill winners. In addition prizes available for overall, and King of the Hill course record breakers. This year there will be a Club/Team prize kindly donated by Nuffield Health. Local runner prizes donated by Goldenstones Leisure and Ironbridge Runner.
Register on-line early to avoid disappointment, entry numbers are limited.

Awards for 1st Male and 1st Female overall, and 1st place in each age group category.
Please note this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
The use of personal listening equipment (Ipods etc) is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
